On-Site Massage
Do you want to do something special for your employees? Why not try Dragonfly’s on-site massage service?
On-site massage is a seated massage that comes to your workplace, lasts from 5 to 30 minutes, and leaves your employees feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to return to work.
This can be a one-time special occasion for your employees, or it can be part of their wellness program. The choice is yours.
This massage is done with a specially designed chair that your employees sit in. There are no oils used, and there is no need to undress.
We supply all our own equipment. The only thing we require from you is a nice quiet corner.
Service Fees
There is a $15 charge for Dragonfly Therapeutic Massage to come to your office.
The cost of the seated massage is $1 per minute. You may choose the length of session you wish your employees to have, or you can let them choose.
The benefits to your employees include, but are not limited to:
- relief of stress
- improved morale
- increased productivity
Pre-Natal and Post-Natal Massage Therapy
The time surrounding pregnancy can be as stressful as it is exciting. Therapeutic massage calms the mind and causes natural pain killers (endorphins) to be released. This helps all those stretched, aggravated muscles relax.
Massage also improves lymphatic flow which improves the immune response, helps maintain blood pressure and helps reduce edema.
Finally, massage assists in relieving leg cramps and muscle spasms.
Each session is tailored to each individual. Many gentle styles of touch that promote a kinesthetic sense of your muscles and their state of tension and relaxation are included.
Instruction In Massage for Labor Support
Partner massage can increase partner participation, sensitivity in labor and involvement in child care after delivery.
Classes are designed to allow for hands-on participation and are geared to each mother-to-be’s specific concerns. This private, 90-minute session is designed so the couple can focus on their concerns and learn at their own pace.
The focus is on simple techniques to relieve muscle cramps, fatigue and edema. Specific tools include acupressure points to help speed labor, basic reflexology, and effective massage for back labor.
Instruction in Massage for Labor - Private instruction, massage oil, and instruction booklet
Prenatal Massage - Massage focusing on the mother-to-be.
Infant Massage Therapy
Tracie Pletcher has been a Certified Infant Massage Instructor since 1995. Her special relationship with babies has developed through the growth of her own three children and using massage for their health and well being.
Tracie also has specialized training in Cranial Sacral Therapy. This technique helps parent and child overcome nursing difficulties, sleeping problems, or molding from delivery. Children respond very rapidly to this gentle non-invasive therapy. She will respect your child’s need for comfort. For further information about Cranial Sacral for Pediatrics, please log on to the web site www.Upledger.com and ask for a brochure.
Classes are taught in groups or private settings. Her classes focus on well being and developmentally delayed infants. Classes are designed for babies from birth to pre-crawling.
Service Fees
Private Instruction - Includes two private sessions, massage oil, and instruction booklet
Cranial Sacral Therapy - Each session involves 20-30 minutes of hands-on time, but allow an hour to incorporate your child's response. Treatment provided at your home.
